Newcastle Law Group triple finalists at national awards
The Fifteenth Annual Australian Law Awards have announced Nexus Law Group as a finalist in three major categories, establishing the Newcastle firm as a major player in the national legal industry. The categories include Boutique Law Firm of the Year, Managing Partner of the Year, and Sole Practitioner of the Year.
Nexus’ Founder and Managing Principal, Marcus McCarthy has been selected as a finalist in the Managing Partner of the Year category, an award that is being contested by managing partners from some of Australia’s most established and best known firms, including Baker and McKenzie, Clayton Utz, Gilbert and Tobin and Herbert Smith Freehills.
Justin Sprogis, who forms part of Nexus’s network of consulting principals has also been nominated by one of his corporate clients in the ‘Sole Practitioner’ category of the Australian Law Awards.
The winners of the 2015 Lawyers Weekly Law Awards will be named at an event held in Sydney on September 17th, 2015.
