NCC sells buildings to Catholic Church
Newcastle Council has sold two buildings to the Maitland-Newcastle Catholic diocese. The properties are adjacent to the Maitland-Newcastle Catholic diocesan administration offices and the Sacred Heart Cathedral on the corner of Parry and Selma Street.
The buildings are currently occupied by Trees in Newcastle and the Newcastle Community Arts Centre and the Catholic diocese has agreed to give the tenants two years to find a new home.
