Hansen Yuncken’s local team wins top score in the construction industry awards
Hansen Yuncken has had another exciting few months with no less than seven regional, state and national awards for their construction projects.
These included Master Builders Excellence Awards for the iconic Birubi Surf Life Saving Club and a MBA/Workcover Safety Award for the recently completed $25 million Ausgrid Regional Facility at Ourimbah.
State Professional Excellence Awards have followed from the Australian Institute of Building for the heritage centenary restoration of the TS (Training Ship) Tobruk Cadet Base at Nobby’s Head, the Birubi Point Surf Life Saving Club again as well as last year’s MBA Commercial Building of the Year – the Bradken Multi- function Facility.
The ‘icing on the cake’ for the Newcastle-based team was the receipt in September of two AIB National High Commendations for TS Tobruk and Birubi SLSC.
NSW & ACT Business Development Manager Trevor Nye said “Hansen Yuncken sets its own highest bar for quality delivery of its projects and their clients now expect an industry award to be a matter of course – ‘no problems’ say the local team.”
