Compass Housing named organisation of the year
Compass Housing has taken out the Newcastle Business Club’s Organisation of the Year for 2015 for its contribution toward the improvement of housing in the local area and to the general wellbeing of the citizens of the Hunter region.
The Newcastle Business Club awards celebrate both individuals and organisations that have made a significant contribution toward the improvement of industry, culture, sport or the overall well-being of the citizens of Newcastle.
Compass Housing’s Group Managing Director, Greg Budworth said “This award has involved a lot of hard work and dedication by all members of the Compass family throughout the year”.
“I would like to thank all our Compass staff, Board members, consultants and contractors for their continued dedication and hard work as well as extending a big thank you to our tenants in the Newcastle region.” Mr Budworth said.
“Without them, this award would not have been possible.” Compass Housing’s work with the local Newcastle community and its commitment to improving community wellbeing and liveability for its tenants has put the organisation at the forefront of community housing for the past 30 years.
This award provides further proof of its commitment to Newcastle and the wider community.
