Farewell Hunter Business Chamber, welcome Business Hunter!
Business Hunter, is the new name and brand for what used to be the Hunter Business Chamber and was officially launched on the 31st March at a function at Newcastle's Great Northern Hotel attended by 150 members and VIPs.
It was a fitting return to the Great Northern, where the first meeting of the organisation – then known as the Newcastle Chamber of Commerce – was held in 1886.
More than 135 years later, they are still the voice of business in the Hunter, and their commitment to you as members continues under the new name.
They are here to help you grow your business, connect you with potential customers, clients and collaborators, and represent the interests of the region's business community to government and decision-makers.
Business Hunter is all of you – so welcome to the new era.
